It’s hard to believe Christmas is this month. It sure doesn’t feel like it with the weather being optimal for riding in December! I guess that’s why we live in Texas. The staff at Local Hub made a list of some of their favorite items in the store. It was hard to narrow down since we have so many great items in stock right now. Bar tape is one of the least expensive ways to change up your bike. Babes on Bikes worked with Dallas based custom bar tape company Zevlin to create some really fun color combinations that will be sure to put a smile on your face every time you ride your bike. Another locally based company we love is Ellum Bag Works. All of the well designed products are handmade in Dallas. The Hitchhiker is your perfect companion on any bike trip. Our favorite feature is the ability to hold our much needed coffee thermos on our commute to work in the morning. Price is $35.99.

Cadence Collection is a recent welcome addition to Local Hub. The California based company designs for comfort and performance. We stock caps, socks, glove, and kits. Vic cap is $32.00.

Any Vans fans out there? Vans partnered with ODI to make a line of colorful handlebar grips. The BMX rider in your life will thank you. Price $10.99

If you aren’t drooling already just by looking at this picture, you should see these babies in person. They might make you cry. Our talented mechanics spec’d and hand built the fixed and freewheel compatible wheelset with the fixed gear rider in mind. Wheelset including 15t fixed cog $650. If there’s one thing everyone at Local Hub agrees is this is our favorite women’s specific commuter bike. We recently started carrying Felt Bicycles a few months ago. We were looking for a sporty fitness bike from a brand that really cared about people and design.
